We had a nice Sunday at the Seahouse Restaurant, Napili Bay, Maui, HI. Small restraurant, over looking the Beautiful Napili Bay. It was a view that must not be missed. We were able to catch the Happy Hour. We enjoyed a Mai Tai, Hawaii’s most popular drink! White rum, dark rum, our “secret” Mai Tai mix and a coupled with pupus. I often have my lady order for the two of us. She chose the CRISPY CALAMARI, Panko and furikake crusted calamari steak strips with marinara and mango mustard. She also chose the PANKO CRUSTED BLUE CRAB CAKES, Crab meat, scallions, red pepper and spices, tomato salsa with Brian’s comeback sauce (wasabi cocktail-tartar fusion)
We were both still craving for the Happy Hour over at the Merriman’s next door. So, we did just that… We walked over and landed at the bar over at Merriman’s Kapalua, Maui. It is one of our favorite spots on island, because of the gorgeous view of the ocean the waves crashing, also… Where we got engaged at. 😊
We’ve met a new bartender, she was amazing. Just didn’t catch her name. I’ll be sure to remember for next time. We ordered my lady’s favorite drink, the Old Fashioned with my one of a kind Margarita on the rocks. The bartender’s margarita was so good, it didn’t taste too strong and was also smooth, just the way I liked it.
So, we were still craving for more bites to eat. My lady chose the TAKO & COUNTRY BREAD, Octopus, Garlic Butter, Cognac, House-Baked Country Bread, a l’Escargot, we loved it from our order previously, so we had to order it again. I wanted to order their parmesan truffle fries, however, my lady was able to convince me that it wasn’t a good choice, since we did eat other pupus like an hour before. So, after a quite short debate, we agreed with ordering the ARTISANAL & FARMHOUSE CHEESE SELECTION,
Seasonal Accompaniments. She wasn’t too fond of this the last time we went, however, she actually enjoyed it with me this time.
We were able to walk down to view the so far away sunset that was approaching. We experienced a beautiful serene time that afternoon by the black rocks. We truly love that spot there by the Merriman’s. We will be back for more.
We did walk back to our ride that was park by the Seahouse. On our way home, my lady had a silly idea of craving for some duck. So, what do you know? The China Boat Restaurant was open on Sundays in Maui. So, we actually went ahead and ordered the roasted duck with some chopsuey and a Lilikoi Vodka drink. Yes, we had room for more, but we were so stuffed after that dinner. We slept so good that night.
That was our weekend a few weekends ago, of grubbing here in Maui, HI. We also had my lady’s homemade cooking with rice and her awesome dishes she makes on Saturdays for our beach run for chips and ahi with tofu from Tamura’s and our Sunday early morning for breakfast.
Should we start a new diet plan? How about exercising on a consistent basis? LOL

Our usual Friday nights would be at the Famous Sansei at Kapalua, HI (By Far my Favorite Friday Night Spot to Chill with the babe, the Service at Sansei, Kapalua is explicit) then later we tried to switch it up a bit with Taverna, an Italian Restaurant also in Kapalua, HI. We always either drove by and walked this smaller restaurant which was right between of the two restaurants, called the Pour House. So, we finally decided to make that evening, the night we tried The Pour House.
Place wasn’t as busy as we have noticed, however, their service was splendid indeed. I believe it was their manager, who greeted us from when we walked in, spoke to us while having our dinner, to inviting us back the next evening while we were leaving.
We had ordered their version of the Old Fashion Whiskey Cocktail and their signature Sangria. Both drinks were delicious. We also ordered a few dishes that were very tasteful. Their cheese though was to die for. Burrata Cheese it was! I couldn’t help myself from taking more bites of it while my lady was having a conversation between the bartender, manager, and myself. I was so enjoying our dishes.
House Meat and Cheese Plate
Black truffle cheese, chèvre, parmigiano-reggiano, Prosciutto di San Danielle, calabrese, Italian salami with burgundy wine, kalamata olives, fresh pears, medjool dates, pecans, Dijon mustard, local honey
Burrata with Artichoke Hearts, Grape Tomatoes, and Kalamatas
Finished with our house-made lemon thyme vinaigrette
Garlic Herb Lamb Chops
Australian lamb, marinated in fresh garlic, EVOO, and a blend of fresh local herbs. Served on a bed of local organic greens, alongside organic beets marinated in our house-made lemon-thyme vinaigrette.
We are definitely returning to order more from their menu. We are craving for more of the Burrata Cheese and we are definitely going to try out their;
Cast-iron-seared, and topped with house-made chimichurri sauce. Served on a bed of local organic greens, alongside house-marinated artichoke hearts and grape tomatoes.
